Bob watched as Amy started towards the gelding's stall. The horse threw up his head, mane slashed across his muscular neck as the whites of his eyes flashed blindly. Spinning akwardly on his haunches, he turned away, kicking viciiously out as she pressed his side hard against the wall, straining away from the humans as his head snaked forward, teeth bared. His tail lashed sharply and his ears where pinned hard against his skull. Bob shook his head, murmering softly as he took a hasty step back, not wanting to pressure the equine, Join up in a training ring was one thing, but quite another in a enclosed stable.

Bob rubbed a weary hand across his face, tugging slightly on his hair as he sighed softly. Tomorrow he would try join up once again. And maybe some simple inhand work. Bob glanced skeptically at the horse, coat growing damp with sweat. Shaking his head slightly he smiled cautiously in Amy's direction.
"I'm a sucker for wild ones." Bob smiled quietly, eyes rising to bore into Amy's own, before returning to their rightful place. The dusty ground beneath them.

The horse was starting to calm down a little, though continued to glare hotly at the stranger. His muscles still tensed, he anxiously paced the stall. Bob took a step forward to join Amy's side, resting his hands on the stable door. The horse tensed, eyeing the boy wearily before snatching a nervous mouthful of hay from the bulging net hung in the interior of the stall.

Bob's hand reache dout to steady the girl as she collided. Relising she did not need his aid, he blushed, stepping backwards, mumbling a bashful apology beneath his breath as he shifted distractidly.

He glanced up at ther words, suprised to find himself disappointed as she dismissed herself. He silently scolded himself, a stern telling-off was in order. STOP faffing about.
"Er...yeah. See you around." He replied quietly, carefully veiling the faint disappointment in his voice as he shifted akwardly, cursing his tendency to act like a total pratt around the opposite sex. Infact, his tendency to act like a total pratt around, not just the opposite sex, but the same sex as well. Sighing softly, he gave a half-hearted lop-sided grin, brightening his carefully shielded emotions for a moment, before drawing closed once more.

Bob watched her disappear into the musty tack room and let his eyes flutter to a close. Stilling his breath, he stood for a moment, gathering the thoughts bundled hastily into his mind. He tugged at his hair for a moment, dithering slightly, at alose for what to do, before setting back towards Dragon's stall.

"We can't leave you in here all night. You'll dismantle your stable." Bob muttered softly to himself as he slipped into the airy loose-box, murmering soothinly under his breath as he slowly slipped a head collar over the gelding's head. Keeping his hand's low and still, Bob lead the horse towards the, thankfully unoccupied, cross-ties. Dragons truggled for a moment, catching the boy's elbow with his teeth. Bob winced, but did not react as he calmly tied the horse up.

Dragon kicked out, struggling for a moment as he thrashed against the restraints before stilling, breathing heavily. Bob, breathing deeply, slowly began to run his hand lightly over the horse's body. His fingers working soothing circles across the milky-grey coat of the horse, Dragon tensed, eye's rolling dramatically. Ignoring the horse's swift kicks, snapping of teeth and stamping of hooves, Bob continued to massage a familiar rhythm over the body of the creature. It took more than just a while before the horse began to calm, his snapping jaws ceasing as Bob became lost in his task, so absorbed, all other thoughts slipped from his mind in silken silence.

Humming ever so slightly Bob's hands stilled. Sliding Dragon's rug from where it was flung over a near by door, the teen folded it neatly up. Slowly approching the horse, Bob let the wary equine sniff it before sliding it softly onto the base of his neck. Dragon squirmed, turning round to glare at the object on his back, nipping at the thick material. Hand's liquid motion, Bob smoothly slid the rug into place, swiftly unfolding it.

The horse only began to resist when the buckles where snapped into place, and hood hooked into posistion. But by then it was too late, the horse had no choice but to accept the fact the boy had succesfully rugged him. For fear of losing fingers, the boy didn't offer the horse a treat but instead, unclipped the ties and lead the horse, with a clatter of hooves against roughened concrete into the yard.

Dragon strained against the lead, sensing freedom as they headed towards the small one-horse paddock, twisting away from the hands of the human, hind quarters swinging wildly around as they entered the grassy pasture. As soon as the head collar was slipped from his noble head, the horse's eye flashed. Dragon spun round, kicking out hard before cantering recklessly down the field, bucking widly as he went. With a soft sigh, head collar slung over his shoulder, Bob bolted the gate and wandered back up to the stables, thoughts wandering back to his mysterious meeting with Amy.
