WELCOME TO TREE TOP ACADEMY
A horse and rider enter the arena. Lights flicker on and off till they finally concentrate on the competitors. The crowd claps in excitement. The announcer blares over the speakers and then the horse sprints off. Jumping over triple bars and over water it seems like they're gonna win. Then comes the parallel bars. Suspension grows and people start standing up on their seats trying to get a clear view of the up and coming task. The horse and rider jump over the parallel bars. One of the horse's legs back legs skid across one of the bars. The rider panics but the bar does not fall. They gallop towards the next jump as fast as they can. It's the triple bar with water on the other side. An easy task for the champion horse and rider they clear it with ease and no frustration. The announcer starts chanting them on and so does the crowd. They jump the brick wall and then they finish! - A Clear Round!

Grey eyes flickered from yard to yard. Each horse was beautiful. Her eyes met with the first sales horse, closer to them than the rest. She was a stunning Palomino Tobiano, rich in colour, clean and a sweet face. 15.3 HH - Palomino Tobiano - Mare - Paint Horse - Western Western. The mare was not an englush horse, sure she could be trained, but maybe she wasen't what Bob was looking for. She leaned over the railings and reached out her hand, the mare snorted abruptly but soon reached forwards to sniff at her hand, finding nothing intresting she returned to her calm position.

Brushing against Bob, Amy smiled up at him "See anyone that catches your eye?" she said softly, eyes surveying his face for a momen before her attention was drawn to the next horse. The bay gelding stood to the back of his stall, eyes rolling into his head as Amy neared. She shook her head, she longed to take him and help him, but she already had Kiss, who needed to be competed as she was more than competitve material, and then there was Treasure, the sparky colt who was still in training. She sighed, stepping back from him, hoping to reduce the preasure.

Bob walked slowly between the pens, eyeing each horse carefully. Bob did not reply to Amy's question, but offered a lopsided grin as he peered into each pen, suvying the horse carefully with his eyes.
He stopped alongside the smal containment which was occupied by a bay Thoroughbred. The gelding looked up, ears twitching ashe eyed the human with certain weariness.
The seller of the equines looked up, noticing the teen's interest.
"He's a nice little chap. Very spooky, and skirty, but he's got a heart of gold. Nice confo, but you gotta be on your toes." The man said, tipping is cap as he spoke.

Bob nodded slowly and offered an upturned palm. The horse stood for a moment, eyeing the human's paw with suspiciounm before streching his head out to sniff it. Once convinced it was safe, he took a hesitant step forward, gently snuffling the boy's sleeve.
Bob nodded slowly before truning to Amy, who had her concentration fixed on another bay gelding. "What do you think?" He asked, as he slowly reached up to pat the horse's neck. The horse looked in good shape, and from the personality description, sounded just about perfect. A good hearted horse with a bit of spice.

Amy twisted her head around to spot Bob gazing fondly at a Bay horse, medium in size. She walked over, smiling sweetly as the gelding lipped at Bob's sleeve affectionetly. "He looks beautiful", she stood off to the corner of his yard and surveyed him. His legs where in good proportion with his body, his chest was well muscled and his neck was a perfect length for reins, from the corner of his mouth to his wither. She walked back to Bob and rubbed the horse on the nose and over his eyes, he sighed deeply and relaxed under the attention.

Leaning slightly on Bob's shoulder she smiled warmly up at him "He looks great." but she tugged at his sleeve, "Come on, lets just have alook at the rest and make sure you're not missing out. This boy won't sell while were gone, don't worry." she looked over to the sales man, who was sitting on an upturned create looking over, she smiled and winked to him slightly, he gave a nod back in reply.

Moving off without waiting for Bob she paced slowly passed all the western horses and halter horses and driving horses. Now there was a single sabino mare, showjumping it read. She had a white splatter creeping up her brisket and was a most beautiful sight. The young mare tossed her head in excitemnt and pranced over, reaching out her nose and breathing heavily onto Amy. Paint/Thoroughbred Cross. Amy smiled rubbing her face "Well aren't you bright?" she longed to take her back to the academy, train her and feel her ability in the show ring. She would have also been a nice mare to carry Treasure's foal.

But Amy had Treasure, the young paint colt was still being trained, and then there was Kiss, she had to get into showing soon...and then little Bones who arrived only yesterday, who still needed a partner, she really didn't have time for another horse, but she was imediantly drawn to her beauty and spirit. She rubbed the mare, watching her large eyes gaze at her, wich seemed to be in trust but confusion.

Bob nodded, and reluctently tore his eyes away from the gelding. He followed Amy over to where a stunning Paint/Thoroughbred mare stood, tail kinked, eyes bright. He watched Amy stroke the mare's face, almost longingly. Smiling softly, Bob joined her, shoulders gently bumping as he reached in to pat the mare's neck.

Ears pricked, nostrils flared, the Sabino gazed back, snorting slightly as she gazed at the two humans.
"She's beautiful..." Bob murmered softly. He clucked his tongue a little, watching the mare's delicatly pricked ears twitch. He grin tugged at the corners of his mouth and he turned to the seller once again, question set upon his face.

"Ah. Yes. She's a stunner. Very willing, eager to please. She's quite a spark though, bit skirty, can get a little over excited. She's well mannered, nice conformation." The seller spoke. Straight and point to the facts as his eyes too ran over the mare's body. Bob nodded slowly. He reached up to scratch the mare behind the ears. Flinching at first, gazing warily at the hand, she relaxed, allowing the teen to rub the small pleasure spot. Her head bobbed and she sighed in content.
Bob looked to Amy, again for her approval. He could see she had already fallen smitten with the mare.

Amy smiled fondly up at the mares large eyes, looking at their spark yet determination to please, like a soul and heart that could never be broken. Sure her muscle was slightly low, but all it would take was a few days of work and she'll be fitter than ever. Amy ran her hands over her eyes, the mares raised head was slightly hard to reach and Amy had to stand on her toes to rach her properly. She was probably one of the larger horses here at 16.3 hands.

Amy shifted her gaze to Bob who was now also patting the mare. The Sabino was enjoying all the attention. As Bob's gaze met Amy's she felt his ask for reasurance and stood back to study the mare, her conformation was nice, just like the thoroughbreds, her hind quarters certainly not frail and weak. Her neck looked strong and was a beautiful length. Amy smiled "She looks impressive. Now you just have to decide between her and the gelding" she looked to Bob, her mind lingering on what horse he was most impressed by. Her mind longed for him to take the mare, the mare she had so tenderly fallen for, but it was his choice.

Bob nodded slowly, glancing from one horse to the either. He could tell Amy had fallen for the mare, and though it was not a reason for him to buy the mare, he couldn't help but feel drawn towards the beautiful equine himself.
After a few minutes he gave a crisp nod.

"I'll take the mare." Bob said aloud, a slow smile spreading over his face.
The seller grinned a crooked smile and stepped forward.
"She's a handful, but she's worth it." The seller said as he disappeared into the backroom. He returned with a bundle of papers. Bob felt excitment stirring in him. A horse, of his very own! Thoug he had not given the horse a test ride, he knew she was coming from a reliable source, and if problems occoured, they could be easily solved.
He grinned to himself as he carefully signed the forms, an took the slim bundle of papers with various details concerning the horse on them. After a short conversation with the seller, mostly concerning the money issue, Bob stepped into the mare's pen.
The mare eyed him, tail flicking a he stepped forward to offer the palm of his hand. After a suspicious sniff, she allowed him to reach up and slip a tattered head collar over her head, and clip the lead into place. She gently head butted his soulder, barging into him lightly as they stepped out the pen.

"All set." Bob beamed at Amy, barely containing the long forgotton excitment. Clucking his tongue, he lead the mare from the barn, watching her skip playfully alongside him, shying playfully at the small, two horse trailer attached to the rear of the Jeep. He waited for Amy to lower the ramp, gently stroking the mare's neck.

Amy smiled as her heart lept with excitement. Her eyes beamed brightly as she turned back to the Sabino mare. She sat engrossed in the mare while Bob chattered away to the seller. Amy watched the mare, her heart beating and pounding against her chest so hard she could hear it thumping in her ears, excitememnt over-whelmeed her as she ran her hand over the mares face. "Your a very pretty girl, aren't you?...Yeah" she pulled her fingers through the cross's knotted forelock, smiling at her all the time.

Amy followed Bob and the mare, lingering to the side of the horse as she kicked at pebbles, not once did eyes stray off the horse. Jogging ahead Amy unlatched the sides and carfuly pulled the ramp down, standing to the side of one division, ready to clip it up as the mare stepped in. "Lets see how she floats" Amy spoke slightly warily, her mind dancing.

The mare clappered a tentive hoof onto the edge of the ramp, leaping sideways at the clatter of metal that rang out. The rope twisted in Bob's hand, as he muremred soft words of encourage, trying to sooth the mare. The equine pranced, crabbing sideways as her eyes rolled lightly.
Giving the horse a moment to calm down, Bob gave a soft cluck of his tongue, leading the mare slowly up the ramp. Twisting away, she skipped sideways up the metal walkway, ears flickering nervously as Bob quitely soothed her. LEading her into the dimly light confines, he tied her up carefully, running a hand down her neck.
"Ok?" He whispered quietly to her. She kicked out, narrowly missing the teen's leg, her eyes still rolling. But she was slightly soothed by the boy, and though shifted restlessly, stood quietly as Bob crept down out of the trailer, and inched the ramp up into posistion.

"Phew. She's quite a girly." Bob smiled softly at Amy as the back of the trailer was tightly bolted. Both teens [sorry for god mode] clambered into the musty smelling cabin of the Jeep, clipping seatbelts into place. Twisting the key in the ignition, the egine started with an unhealthy splutter and cough. Pulling smoothly out of the car park, they set off on the road, heading back home.
"Names. She needs a name." Bob pondered aloud, glancing at Amy, before fixing his eyes on the road ahead.

Amy quickly clipped the padded chain to the inside of the divider as soon as it was possible, and then leapt off the ramp to avoid the flying hooves. Heaving the ramp up, she fixed it securely in place, a smile lurking on her lips. As the two teens clambered into the cab, she fastened herself and shuffled into a comfortable position.

It wasen't long before her mobile beeped, digging her hand into her pocket, she flipped the phone up and buttoned through her messages. From Jade: heya girly, did he get a horse? =P Amy smiled quickly texting back a breif description of the new addition to Tree Top.

At Bob's words, she looked across at him "Well, are you looking for a flashy show name or simple barn name? 'coz I always thaught Spark fit her." she smiled warmly and shuffled closer into the teenager, feeling the warmth of his body against hers. Her mind drifted, quite siddenly really as she thaught of how old he was. Well he was driving so he was obviously older than herself. "Bob? How old are you?" she asked carfuly raising an eyebrow at him for a moment before adjusting her eyes yet again.

As the drove slowly and steadily along the twisting road that lead to Tree Top, Bob hummed slightly under his breath. He felt his cheeks warm as Amy shifted closer, but instead of feeling painfully uncomfortable, he relaxed.

"Seventeen." Bob answered in reply to Amy's question, casting a side long glance at the girl who sat alongside him. He pondered on the names, thinking hard. He wanted somethink oringal, that stood out. Considering Amy's own suggestion he thought hard.
"Fluke." He said aloud. Casting another glance to Amy, testing the name on his lips. A fluke she was, finding such a beautiful mare. He turned up into the driveway leading to the yard, driving slowly over the ruts in the track. He heard the shrill whinny of the mare in the trailer, and the returning calss of other Tree Top equines. Carefully manouvering the large vehicle, he parked in the cantre of the yard, swining out of the cab of the Jeep into the bustling atmosphere. Various eyes glanced up at the new arrival as Bob reached up to unbolt the rear of the trailer. He slowly lowered the ramp, reaching up to unhook the rear breach bars. The horse confined whinnied, kicking the metal walls of the box, clattering loudly inside the space, eyes rolling as Bob slipped up beside her head.

Quietly soothing the agitated beast, he slowly lead her down the ramp. She charged forward, standing in the centre of the yard, eye right, edlicate nostrils flaring as she survied her urroundings. Her tail was kinked high as she lifted her head, stamping a hoof to announce her arrival. Bob gave a low whistle beneath his breath.
"She's quite the lady." He said quietly as he lead the mare around the yard, letting her get used to the unfamilar sights and smells of the new atmosphere.
